1979 Datsun 210 GTL RACECAR
Racecar has a long race history from manufacture date.
Racecar is a roller with many upgrades.
Painted in Nissan factory race colors, it has been to the National Runoffs several times and finished in the top 10 and won the 2007 SARRC.
Significant upgrades to suspension, coil over's springs, 200SX struts, vented rotors with 4 wheel disc brakes.
All Suspension is heim jointed for total adjustability.
Extensive roll cage,
OMP Carbon Fiber race seat with 6 point race harness,
custom aluminum Griffin radiator,
oil cooler, remote oil filter setup, all AN fittings and steel braided lines,
Electromotive crank fire ignition,
Tilton peddles and Tilton brake and clutch master cylinders with remote reservoirs,
Lexan all the way around, flared fiberglass front fenders,
fire suppression system, upper and lower sway bars,
all gauges and TACH with Shift Light,
very rare Original Detroit Locker 411 differential plus other differential ratios,
fuel cell, lightweight racing rims and slicks.
Spare front air dam, brand new - painted and clear coated.
Out of racing and must sell ... many other spares so everything goes.
Will part Racecar if you need something specific,
additional set of light weight racing rims.
Also, have 3 spare cranks - a couple are light weight racing cranks,
5 new factory cams, cam gears/chains, stock 4 spd…etc.
several ported intakes, Weber Carbs (complete set-up with AN fittings and steel braided fuel lines, Ported Heads...etc......

I would like to see Barry's car back on the race track. SO MUCH SO THAT I WOULD BUY IT AND GIVE IT TO A DATSUN FAN TO RACE IT, FREE OF CHARGE.

Contact me if interested. [I know Barry and would make all of the arrangements to buy the car.] Then I'd supply you with an engine, which you would have to install in the car. You would have to race the car and take care if it, BUT THERE WOULD BE NO RENT. Just race it and return it in as good a condition as you found it.

I am hoping to find someone to race the car for the January Sebring and Homestead races.

I also have a 1971 tube chassis Datsun 1200 in St. Louis, MO that is also available FREE to anyone who wants to race it. Same deal, race it and take care of it and you can use it FREE.

OK - I would LOVE to do a race in Australia or NZ sometime in my life. Next year, 2014, 2015????

ANYONE who wants to come to the US and race here (one race weekend or a season) would be welcome and then I'll come race your car at your home town race track.

In January our winter races start in Florida. I usually go race at Sebring, where we have the 12-Hours of Sebring professional race in March. It's a challenging, although flat, 3 mile race track with 17 corners.
