hey guys just wanted to show what i have been working on for the past 6-7 weeks...!
yes thats right 6-7 WEEKS lol been really hectic and expensive hiring car trailers from 1 place to another...!!
i just got out of the booth today and thought i might was well show it to you guys from start to finish

car history:

went to QLD in November and bought this orange ute that "looked" pretty good

drove it back to NSW, was fine

started stripping it and realizing that both floor pans was just fiberglass and had rail damage and the car was covered in about 5 layers of spray bog..!!

went to sand blaster as i was tight for money and couldn't get it acid washed, where it was stripped and then etched primed in one of the best stuff i had ever used..!!!

wanted to do something different with the quarts instead of just cutting and welding a metal shaped for the shaved look as i wanted to also keep the top line going from the door to end quart
deiced to see if we can fold and trim and re-weld to the inner panel to keep the quarts easy to change and still keep both shaved and line at same time.!

welded all panels in and floor pans and fixed rust areas and rail that had a small hit

bogged areas that had damage and trial fitted new panels to see if they lined up.!

off for primer and panels where done at my work

painted engine bay gloss black and painted the door inners and inside cab spirited green ( mazda 2 colour )

blocked and rubbed in my back yard and got ready for paint

THEN PAINTED with my secret glass flat paint job...!!!

hope you guys like it...!!! P.S sorry if photos turn out blurry, using stupid iphone..!!!

I like both colors personally, but the green you went with is similar to the one I used. It looks real similar to Toyota Envy Green. Smashing progress for such a cramped time frame.

Really nice job

at least if you have only taken 6 weeks then you have not had enough time to lose all your fittings
