I heard that Mundairing Weir area is undergoing major renovations so I went there yesterday to take a look.

Just as well because almost all of the GAS BBQ areas are closed. ( fires are banned in the wood BBQs)

No problem though-- I found a suitable area to BBQ just south of the Dam wall. Its called SOUTH LEDGE on south ledge road about 3 Km south of the wall. I found it using an 8 year old street map so everyone else with fancy phones should have no trouble.
It has picnic tables, toilet and wood BBQ so I will bring my gas BBQ along
