your standard datsun speedo cable will fit into the rx7 gearbox and should be just long enough.
if not i believe 120y is longer. you will need a reduction box though to make the speedo read accurate
which you can get from speedscreen like unfam said

Awesome. My gearbox is too far back for stock 1200 cable. The rx7 one looks like I could make it fit. The dash end isn't threaded tho so bit of glue and were done, haha. Nah I'll look into the reduction box, speedo never read correctly anyway but if its consistent and not wound all the way off then I could just make a new face for the dial.

that's it - thinking outside the box (or in this case the cable)

Took the ute for a 110km round trip to pick up a new air conditioning unit for the house on Saturday. Didn't miss a beat. Soo much better on the freeway having five gears and power.

Real stocked with it, got stuck in traffic at road works on Green Hill Rd for a good 15min and the temperature stayed under 87degrees. Floor got a bit hot tho where the exhaust passes under foot well but nothing to worry about.

so you should be stoked!

I have an A14 SC EFI and the extractors pass closely by the passenger side foot well and that gets bloody hot!

Have you had any attention to sell it yet? Its a shame, its such an awesome little car!

120Y speedometer cable is 200 mm longer than B110. And 180B (610) cable is even longer than that and also compatible.

No enquiries yet. Got a fair list to get done before its ready for sale.

Ordered a new ignition switch and setup good relays for all the electrics. Made a noticeable power gain (it melted the fuse holder on the temporary ignition wiring).

Also found a way to fit the Mazda air filter and box.

Still have to fix a little oil leak, tidy up gauges, make a better hydro handbrake, weld diff, speedo, carpet, door cards and the rest.

Definitely getting better, fixed the leaks and finished the wiring today. Moved the engine over a few millimeters so it doesn't touch the steering box when cornering hard. Made an extra exhaust mount (I suck at making exhausts. First it was too loose, then it snapped a mount because it was too tight. Hopefully now its good enough).

Wish I had the funds and time to do things top notch. Would love a nice new exhaust system and Webber setup. Maybe a 2-way and half cage.
