Hi Guys

I have a tiny water drop from my B310 Water return plug located on the dash board side, is there a anyway that i can fix that matter temporarily till i remove that plug and check it later,any glue or something like to fix it ? since i am going upcountry tour most probably this week end , it can run around 100 Km without refilling and heating it has A12A engine on it

Is the leak inside the passenger compartment or in the engine compartment? The dashboard (firewall) divides the two.

The easiest fix is to bypass the heater (connect the long heater hose to the back of the cylinder head). It usually solves a leak unless the fitting is rusted out.




You may leave it this way temporarily or permanently -- the engine runs fine either way. Just depends on whether you need the heater for de-misting the windshield.

It is flowing to the Engine Compartment not to the passenger Compartment , Actually it looks it is leaking from the Plug seal It self not from the rubber hoses and connectors

I do not known what "plug seal" means.

Just taking a stab in the dark here but Strange backfire and leak near the heater hose connector at the back of the head, could it be blown head gasket?
You could try a little bit of egg white in the coolant as a temp fix but might block more than the leak.

I checked the Oil there is no indication of Gasket failure , i will go through them tonight and let you guys know,
This has been sat for few weeks did not have time for it since i am planning for a upcountry tour for this week end

So doesn't like to Refill Radiator each and every 100 km , so just was thinking about applying gasket maker glue or something similar to avoid that tiny leak, will it work ?

Sorry Sumith but until the cause of the leak is determined I cannot say.
It is not a problem (I think) if you carry spare water/coolant and top up as required before overheating.
Maybe also remove the fitting, smear some sealant onto the thread and re-fit before the sealant cures.

Very easy fix is to pour a packet of curry powder in the radiator. The curry will circulate until it finds a hole where it will bake into a plug. Don't ask me why it works or how, we drove a A14 for almost a year like that, after a welsh plug sprung a leak, before we pulled the motor to rebuild it.
