Hey mcdat, I have 17's on the front and 18's on the back of my ute. I have some photo on here and nissansilvia.com. 18's really fill the rear guards on my ute and with the rim fairly flush and the tyre slightly stretched the inner guard sits on the tyre when it is at a reasonable height. I custom ordered my wheels to suit and ill need some inner guard work to get some clearance so that I can actually drive with them on.

Tire rubs on foot well with 7" wide +10 offset wheels with large diameter tires. Even 13" tires can foul. In the straight and with gentle turning there is no scrub at all, but there can be scrub against the footwell in a heavy turn near full lock.

Worn castor bushes won't cause it to rub as it would only cause a problem with the tire rubbing on the front (not on the rear of the wheel weel).

Hi guys was just walking down the street and sore a bmw with 315/30/20 and they are huge. Now that I have seen them I don't think ill be going that big,265/35/18 on the rear will be plenty and a 165/35/17 on the front.I have bought some space saver 15" with 115/70 and have run it through the tyre comparison calculator and the over all diameter is roughtly the same as the 15"wheels and tyres I was looking at,but decided that I like the low profile tyre look more.
