what is the advantage of a vannette box over a sunny?
looking at pitroad's website, they make some neat looking stuff, but the prices make them a little less neat looking!

wouldnt about the same amount for a celica conversion kit make more sense, with a stronger and slicker box to boot?

This conversion makes more sense if you can get a Vannete box -- and you want to keep it all Nissan. For example, if your social group and show circuit requires it. Also, in Japan I think a 5-speed swap has to be "conforming", and possibly only Nissan gearboxes are allowed.

If you want to save money and have a stronger, yet light box, the Toyota transmission swap makes sense.

Does the gearbox from a diesel vanette make it possible for the conversion?
