I want to make a "cheap" closer ratio 5-speed for the 1200s and B210s that I loan out here in the US. [If you want to come over to the US and race a car on the cheap, let me know.]

Has anyone tried to find a set of Motorcycle gears that are spaced 63mm apart to use as donor gears for a 63A conversion? I want to replace just the input gear and the matching counter gear on a stock 63A transmission to bring the ratios closer. If I could find any motorcycle with the 63mm spacing I need, I could do it cheaply.

Any ideas? Thank you, Peter

Peter, I've asked a couple of friends who road race bigger street bikes to check and see if anything fits the bill. Everything I have in the garage these days is small bore 2 strokes, with the exception of my Beta and parts fot that wouldn't be cheaper.
If anything fits I'll let you know

Tom
