It's pretty easy - just put it in a box or post bag, tell em at the post office it is COD post and how much money you want for the purchase price. Then they send it, I get a card in the mail box, and go to my local post office, and pay them your price, plus their postage fee, they take the postage fee and you get a money order for the full purchase price. It's a pretty good system, it means if you get held up posting it for whatever reason, the buyer isn't stressing out about having paid the money, and on the flipside, the buyer can't collect the item till they pay australia post for the item and the delivery fee - good for all parties. the postage fee itself is a little more expensive vs if you just send it regular post, but that cost is to me, not to you, so it's no biggie.
to be honest the main reason I'm asking for that option is that they are doing roadworks in my street, and it's not accessible (they've dug up the middle of the road, and fill it in/cover it at the end of each work day) from 8am to 6pm, so a postie would get through on a bike with the card to say 'the item is at the post office' but the package delivery guy (in a van) wouldn't be able to get down the street to drop it off. they'll be doing this for the next few weeks, so it's about the only realistic option I currently have.
Failing that, I could probably talk to unfamilia or D, who both live nearby, so it could be sent to their address and I could do a bank deposit, but honestly the cod post option is a little easier just for the time being.
If they are still available I'd be after the: headlight surrounds $5 rubber gearstick boot never used $15 as well, all bundled together in one package
If that's agreeable, let me know via PM and we'll take it from there.
