Kindly help me locate the Filler plug on my 4-speed transmission. I see a couple "plug-looking" parts and want to get it right. I've reviewed the Tech Wiki and my shop manual (WTH?) and can't find. Thanks!

the drain is a female square drive plug. the filler is normally a male square drive plug.
Normally half way up the side of the case.
you need an oil hand pump to fill the gearbox.

Okay, I'll bite... Why do you think the drain plug is not drawn on the picture? (In F5C56A, it's #27.)

#27 is the speedometer pinion drive, not the drain plug.

LittleFireyOne: I'm looking at F5C56A, which I realize is NOT my tranny, but it has a drain plug listed (see 27 08931-44210 PLUG-drain). You are referring to the F4W56A, which IS my tranny and does not have a PLUG-drain listed.

So, my question remains. Anyway, I'm sure I'll get underneath the car tomorrow and see it, but I was just curious why they don't have it listed on the F4W56A, when they do on the F5C56A.
