Rota are well known for cracking be careful (google it rota crack) you best try a real alloy wheel not one heavily mixed with impurities and heavy amount of iron content which makes them very heavy and brittle with alloy. You can surprisingly get Japanese RAY wheels for about that price posted from a guy who has an account with them in Malaysia, his name is strider on redlinegti.com and has supplied many with wheels and other parts and owners who got them love them.
Send him the link and get a price shipped of what you want.

My fave RAYS model suits old and new cars he had them for
650aud delivered rays rim (BRAND NEW!) - 650usd shipped
Im getting them with gold centres for that retro 70s look
15 X 8JJ, ET 28, multi PCD 100 / 114.3 surely can get 16 x 8

Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with ROTA these days. 10yrs ago sure. Today they're perfectly fine.

What model Rays are they? I've never seen them before.

I will find out as I never saw them before except on Euro brand make
Mine will be to suit a flared 1000 coupe 15 x 8 fronts and 10 rears
they dont make 14s unfortunately and 17s are cheaper than 15s for tyres
supposedly when I checked Toyos so hard choice even going to 15s

You don't know the name of your fave Rays wheel?
I'll save you the trouble - they're a bad knock-off of a Rays 57V. That is, they only sorta look like them. Nemoto Sprint is a better design copy, but they don't try to fob them off as genuine Rays.
I've never seen Rays do that bevelled dish/lip design.
The colour isn't Rays Bronze.
And they don't have the japanese standards cast on the face like every set of Rays I've seen or owned - eg JWL.

But the obvious warning sign is that you think you're buying a genuine set of Rays from some dude in Malaysia cheaper than a set of Rotas! What's that saying about "If it sounds too good to be true..."?

Yeah safe to say D buying any sort of wheel from Malaysia is going to be a fake wheel....

Link to the real wheel you like so you can see the difference in the two

First is the Malay Ray, top right williams f1 from wiki pointed out by oda & the bottom 2 are the 57v but I thought they where the F1 wheels? Good pointing out the 57v looks very familiar but without the extra bend and no side stepped grooves.
The copy is to suit fwd offset suzuki swift so more dish would be nicer again.

It actually looks better than the bottom 2 wheels by far, the f1 on top right is crazy

lol RAYS Formula 1 fakes you reckon? They seem to have it upside down and polished the lip on the wrong #OOPS#ing side of the wheel!
I was trying to work out which commercially available RAYS wheel you thought these were... "My fave RAYS model"

Pretty funny though - ranting against cheap nasty wheels then posting your own even cheaper crap thinking they're genuine Japanese RAYS! Thanks for the chuckles.
