I've got an a14 with oval ports, I also have a downdraught oval port intake manfifold. I've got a 40mm sidedraught dcoe weber that I was planning to use but found out that know one makes single sidedraught manifolds... Weber have an adaptor for DGV to DCOE set ups, but it's round port. My question is can I use this? Will the I take me rough? And will it lose a heap of power? Please help. :(

There is a single sidedraft Weber DCOE manifold available for both oval and round port A series engines.

Or are you trying to use a sidedraft DCOE as a downdraft carburetor?

I have seen them on eBay once in a while. Also on Facebook forums. Try contacting Redline or Stewart Wilkins Motorsport. There is also ReCarb Australia.

You are bound to find one oughta those three. Expect to pay $300 AUD plus though for a new manifold. The one you are after is a more uncommon type. But it exists, I am positive.

Twin carb manifolds are more common.

I'll have a look, but if not would that adaptor work? It will just be restricted to dgv size yeah?

Should email Rowland Manifolds (the topic of this link) and find out if he's actually making the single dcoe manifolds because the website doesn't seem to list pitcures

This is not for round-port

It bolts to a DGV (32/36) adapter.
