Really well they're the same bolt spacing as Sumitomo aren't they??? I have Hilux Calipers which are Sumitomo, and heard of people using commodore calipers which I'm sure are the same. I better check

so far ive tryed them on stanza, 120y, 240k and blue bird but have had no luck yet
going to the wreckers today with my vl caliper to search some more

Don't the Hilux and Sumitomo fit on a 200B strut? Pretty sure it's not a 180B strut (large or small axle).

I know there are 2 kinds of 200B strut, an Aussie version and an Import version with the nicer finned girlock calipers. The Aussie ones are more common, and I believe these are the ones that fit the hilux 4 spots (not done this, but I'm sure the info is on this site someplace).

Would be nice to find a bolt on for the verada rotor. I have a pair mounted to 1200 hubs and thought they were commodore until I checked the part no! The Girlock caliper from a stanza is a dead ringer (visually) for a commodore except for the cast iron slider. It seems to only have a small aperture to accept the thin solid rotor, but could it be possible perhaps to use the commodore slider (with larger aperture ) in the stanza body ????????? It just seems that car manufacturers like to reuse bits and pieces where possible rather than tool up for all new - so maybe girlock had just carried over an existing housing and added a reworked slider ???? Anyway worth a thought I 'spose

Um no the caliper body won't be wide enough for you to just swap the cradle and have it fit
Aussie struts would have girlock (as its an aussie company) and Jap struts will have Tokico,Nabco or Sumitomo.

The biggest brakes are more suited to racing situations where the car is being pulled back from high speeds often, but for street duty, then the lightest brake setup that will fulfill all your braking needs is the best choice, as heavy unsprung mass takes it's toll in ride quality on the street. Racers are too hyped to notice, or care, about ride quality. Performance comes first, last & always.

Dodgeman, would I be correct in assuming that if you can currently lock up both front wheels on dry pavement, you already have 'enough' braking force? Bigger calipers would just put more clamping force on the rotors.

Larger diameter discs would also help a bit with brake fade, and vented discs would reduce fade a lot. Meaning good for repeated stops or driving down steep mountain roads.

I have Hilux Calipers they're 4 Spots and they fit my Stanza Struts, holes and all, I just haven't made up my mind on the rotors as I have 180Sx Rotors 11", or Audi Disc Rotors I also have u13 Pintara disc mentioned just have to investigate which mods is the easiest. Hard choice though.
