Hi everyone,
I am doing a S13 Brake Conversion on my Datsun 1200 ute. On the S13 Brakes info page it saids that you will need new wheel studs that are at least 8mm longer than stock. I bought a set of new S13 wheel studs from Nissan and they are about 46mm in total length. I have acquired a set of Datsun 1200 drum hubs for the conversion and the total length of the wheel studs are about 41mm. On the Wheel Stud info page it saids that the total length of the front disc wheels studs are 32mm. So when stating that the wheel studs need to be at least 8mm longer than stock which measurement is this referring too? the stock disc or drum hubs? Any help would be great.

Also note that Drum hub studs differ from Disc hub studs

I suppose you could grind round-head studs to make them fit the drum hubs

Bursons can get ant size wheel studs you want. I would assume Repco could as well.

Ive used nissan pintara/r31 studs on all the ones ive done mate ;)

Yes, R31 studs (Repco S457) fit the 1200 disc hubs. They have a longer shoulder than the 1200 studs, but the extra length of the disc-over-hub (S13 rotor thickness) makes it just right for the S13 brake conversion

Did you use R31 studs on 1200 drum hubs? The 1200 drum hubs use a non-round head stud. But maybe round-head studs will work?
