Hey guys, It's been a while.
I'm looking for a picture of the front air cleaner stay bracket for an A12. (The kind which only has one bolt each tide holding the manifold to the head at the top between each pair of runners) Maybe all A12's are like that, but I've not played with them for such a long time?
I have two manifold to air cleaner housing stayss, but niether of them seem to be the right thing.
Anyone got a picture of theirs?

Yeah there are at least two sizes of the thin bracket. I had one that never fit anything, maybe it was for the later style manifold or something, it was about 4mm different length

Thanks David!
As always you're the man!
I'm not really sure what model cars any of my parts came off. My Air filter housing is I think B310. And the longblock is I think B210. BUt the manifolds are just some I found in my (extensive) junkpile.
My Air filter housing has a flat on one side where the bracket with two bolts attaches.
Of the two front stays I have, neither of them then correct "helix" to make them fit.

Might have to have another ferret through my spares/junk to see if I can find any others. (Before I start trying to modify what I've got.

I am looking for a good picture of the labels on the air cleaner.
1. on the tube
2 on the lid

I have a partial of the one on the lid and I am going to try to make mine own but have no idea what the one on tube looks like or if I may be able to buy one.

Any ideas?

Now that you mention it, it was the twist/helix that didn't quite line up with mine

The B110, 1974-1975 120Y, 120Y Wagon, and 1979 B310 A12 Wagon all used the same Stays. But most 1976-up A12 used different Stays. Maybe the air cleaner has the bolt hole in a slightly different spot?

Nice photos

It seems to be different for different years and markets

B310? lid says same thing, but is inked on instead of a paper label

That's a tough label, they are always worn away. I think this may be the same label, but was fixed to body instead of tube. I've only seen it once -- on the 1200 of a Nissan parts man, so he ordered it from Nissan

I'm quite sure that my front stay is too long too.
BUt I've had lots of A14s, A15's, over the years. And had many cars/motors which were sans air cleaner assemblies at the time of acquistion too.
