Hey that looks good. Can we fit a c-clamp type of end on it so it's adjustable pre-load?

Yes. Mount hardware would be on the underside. honestly would look much cleaner on the RHD cars too.

I have to machine the sandwich plate that goes inside the strut tower, and add up all the hardware.

Yeah or the end of a M8x1.25 Allen stud.

Ive seen these stoppers with an alloy cup type tip that acts to spread the load across the BMC. pic for reference. Would this be included as part of your design? Nice work btw.

that would be correct. accept for the alloy cup. Unless I find one pre-made that I can tap to M8X1.25

I can machine the cup but it adds about 10-12$ more to the price on machine times.

Nice Brace

Explain to me one thing, your brace is to support the brake master cylinder, in a forward up position and a litle to the left. How can i assembly the linkake brake pedal to the brake master cylinder in a difrent position? You will make the new linkage too?
For me will be the perfect solution to my problema of clearance.

Many thanks

Luis

saudações Luis,

The brace is a totally separate item not used for relocating the master cylinder.

I am currently working on another item that is for relocating the master cylinder inside the car. I will be posting that progress on this thread also.

Questions for everyone wanting to remote the BMC to the interior.

are we going to be using a BMC like this?

Or this one?

I like the Jegs MC for how compact it is. I might go ahead and build this kit specific to that BMC.

Update:

I have designed a bolt on alloy arm that will not require any mods to the stock arm for the pedal system.

Using the former connecting pin hole for the BMC clevis you can now use a M8X1.25 through bolt to secure the Lever to the existing setup. The Pedal will need to be remove for install though. There is a .787" (20mm) precision through bore that will slide over the OD of the pedal pivot boss. There will be no slop or wiggle room. Slip fit only.

If I use the stock TOKICO master cylinder there will have to be holes added to your pedal racks for fluid line clearance at the pressure pots on the bottom.
