Don't know much about them other than that they are part of the Yokohama Almex series, A38 wheels. I've only seen the set I have in the states and one set for sale in Japan.

sorry cant help with the wheels most likely factory cherry of some sort or mitsu colt?
but that metallic brown is awesome!!!!!

D, looks similar to Hayashi Street wheels, but these have a large sloping dish. Who makes SS wheels?

Very interesting wheels ... on that VW site. Still, can't say I'm fan of "Turbo Wheels" (flat discs with cooling slots around the edges). It says they died out in the 1990s. I'm glad no 1200s were ever seen with them ...


Turns out these are Hayashi Street "Type CR" which seem to be the rarest of the Street wheels (most are Type ST without the large sloping step)
