I had this link sent to me by a friend and thought that I would post it up.
Please excuse the model aircraft.
There are some really nice Datsuns including the absolutely mint red 1200 coupe of Kitch's which is concours standard- you will not find a better one anywhere!
Also an ex Shellsport coupe and of course two SSS's, mine and Brownies. Brownies car was developed by long time racer Wayne( Noddy ) Murdoch and is very quick with quite a history.Brownies original car, the orange coupe is also featured early on- this too is a pretty quick little car.
Most of the pics seem to have seen taken down at Levels raceway in Timaru.

For some reason when I click on the link it seems to be dropping the zealand/timeline however if you drag the mouse over it and right click it takes you to the correct page- maybe someone can sort this?
Enjoy.
Cheers
Dave

Dave, what are the wheels on your SSS?

Is it the same car that was for sale in 2004? Or was this Neil Stuart's replica SSS?

Dave's wheels are Aunger Wildcats I think.
He's owned his SSS for a very long time too.

Wow - that is a whole bunch of lovely hot rod 1200s per capita in the fair Shaky Isles!
There are some beautiful examples shown.
Wonder if my F5C56A trans was from an organ donor vehicle related to these SSS models? (the trans came from NZ...lost my contacts in the great computer crash of 2014)

Nah, the SSS models came with a 4-speed. Full details in our tech article: Datsun 1200 SSS

Well, I'll be dipped...I always thought that the NZ lads who brainstormed the SSS dipped a lot deeper into the NISMO competition catalog than they did. Thanks for the reference DD!
