the air-cooled jatco just has vents on the bell housing. There are fittings on the side to run a cooler if you want. Basically the same bellhousing and same gearbox

Anyone recognise this bellhousing pattern? I'm not having much luck tracking down what toyota motor it fits. From there I hope to find a drawing of the pattern so I can design up an adapter....

Sorry only just measuring this now for you. It’s 63mm from the Bell housing to the input shaft. The Bell housing is 153mm

Thanks for that. A bit more thinking to do but it looks like a cut and shut might be the best option.

I know a few others have done it but I've not seen a detailed right up on it. I can think of a bunch of things that could go wrong....

A pressure wash revealed 21R on the bell housing so that's what the gearbox is off I'd say.
