was told to stop the profit stuff for about a month, so now I am going to jump back into this and the billet cross flow cylinder head once my orders have been finished.

Matt what do you think of this pump and
the extra pulley needed to be CNCd for it
so it can go in place of the original pump?
Its going to cost much more all up but would
like to see if its possible as in the end
less wiring and better looks still leaving
Mazda crank pulley free for alt and air con.

If you can confirm it might work then I can
have it sent to you after buying from aliexpress
unless you can get it cheaper in your neck of the
woods from a local USA supplier then I can just
buy it and have it sent as well.

I will see what I can dig up locally.

I cant design around a B series cylinder head because I don't have one. I can work on a setup for the Z series cylinder head though.

If you can just compare the measurements of the water cavity hole on your A12 block with the ones I posted you can get a better idea if it might work or not.

The problem is the pulley needs to be like a big cup to cover over the waterpump close to original waterpump pulley size in diameter.

The head shouldnt matter? as the angle of the waterpump pulley will just change the angle of the belt a tad and in fact will give more contact surface area to the B head even if you use the Z series for reference.

Can you post a pic of your z head and which model it is Matt? particularly the water oil passages so I can compare to the B series.

might need a little grinding at the base to fit a decent pulley size

Matt Ive only seen bare heads without that smaller cambelt idler unit.

Any chance you can post pics of the chambers, inlet and exhaust
sides as Im getting smitten again by the z series heads.
all i can find http://www.athousakis.gr/wp-content/u ... -head-mazda-Z501-9976.jpg
Im wondering if that idler pulley section could be used on
the waterpump below somehow then cnc impeller to suit the
current plate you have if correct cavity is machined to suit.

these are very cheap now at alibaba can get one posted to you
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32859206905.html

would only ask this if you can be bothered as I dont care what time
it takes on when you make time just that I would rather buy the head
as well off you if you where willing and get the lot done then posted.

I am fixed now that a mech pump even if it cost the price of an electrical
setup or a custom waterpump made from scratch is a better investment.
I will also be up for a cnc inlet bike carb manifold for that head etc.

Let me know in time, no hurry just pedantic and obsessive as always.

Sorry guys. I have been super swamped with production work and car part orders. I am trying to rat hole some extra liquidity before our economy totally tanks or the possibility of it tanking from this panic.

Ill try to get some pictures of the Z-50 cylinder head later.
