So got all the wiring harness all done got the egi /factory/ aircon all into one hole harness was alot of hours put into it and its a mint job

I been playing with the motor i moved the coolant temp sensor to a blank face on the gx head when i got the head done i had the coolant holes welded up
I changed the camshaft to the specs of the motor is
A14 egi
Nos gx / egi cam
40thou oversize pistons
Gx head (been sitting on the shelf since the mid 80s)

One of the nicest fuel injection retrofits ever! Good work. Is that aircon I see?


There is the ECU coolant temperature sensor (typical Nissan fuel injection type)

This was on the stock EGI manifold near the last runner. Same as the 280Z/280ZX unit

some later 1970s-1980s head have a sensor boss here

There is the temp sender for dash Temp -- EGI used same one as Datsun 1200 and regular B310 Sunny

And a cooling temp sensor (not part of a stock EGI motor) for example this was used on some B310 with electric cooling fan -- fitted to the lower radiator hose

Be a update
So now he ute has now a dual fuel tanks with total of 75 litres with a dual fuel solenoid on a switch to change over in the cab for long range driving

Also in the works a toyota t50 5 speed not a dellows clutch setup as bit flimsy for my taste made my own
With tail shaft also made be ready to go in
