Y44 sleeved down to 4.2L 933 ponies!!!!!!!
hybrid Z forums stated Nissan Y series v8 lighter than 2JZ!!

https://www.topgear.com/car-news/motor ... s-including-933bhp-nissan

Paul Newman once raced a 933bhp twin-turbo V8 Nissan 280ZX. Annoying, isn’t it? Not only was he impossibly cool on screen, he was also a bona fide racing driver and helmed many amazing things over his career.

Like the Nissan. It was one of only three twin-turbo prototype V8 280ZX models built, pumping out a not inconsiderable 933bhp.

on a side note Never thought I would like a Triumph TR more than the better Fairlady Roadster in race trim

Im sure Paul saw daylight again going back to Datsuns for reliability

1UZ is tiny for a v8 one of the best ever made BUT VQ eats it for size, tuning, power and parts today
best thing is no need to chase a box as the 6 speed is easily available.
Ive been looking for a 6mt FWD box for a rear engined FD3S brain fart.

There is an FD3S in Japan with VQ35DE that killed it on his first outing with an extra passenger
tagging along. The vq in it is a traditional front engined rwd, torque alone double a rotary.

VQ is crazy good these days now there is knowledge on them.
