Dave, are You back in Washington?

D, some say I have the fastest carbonated Nissan 4 cylinder motor in the world. Lol
Yes, all the cars are running fuel injection. Except mine.
I debating upping the nitrous and pushing my car into the 10's.
11.19 is pretty darn close. 👍
Currently running a 160hp shot.
The pistons and rods are rated for 1000hp. Im guessing I'm close to 400hp at the moment.
It's my crank I'm worried about. Weakest point on the car.
Transmission is rated at 700hp and the rear-end probably that as well.
So I kind of do have some room to play with. 👍
Looking at the schedule for May now.
Should be an Awesome race year. 🙂

Carburetor can be used with Fanta injection

160hp shot seems extreme, is it a progressive release of the nitrous, how does that work?

Thats sweet, a true high carb diet!
some of the 240sx boys were getting 450atw
and state 500hp is max for stock block
You got a lighter bee as well and consistent
boost from idle so less peak torsional issues.
Did you have the block main saddle machined
like this one done for V1R?
https://www.visiononeracing.com/product-page/main-saddle-machining

You are so close to 10s!!! considering the VW
and others have tons of development compared
to your unique carbed charged KA combo its nuts.

Dave,
Welcome back to the 48. 👍
The nitrous is a progressive.
30% to 100% at the 60 foot.
The Solenoids chatter until they fully open. 👍

D,
No main saddles machined.
I did modified the oil cavity so that that oil is pumped into the back of the block as well as the front. Cylinder #4 was always the last to get oil and I had spun a couple of rod bearing. That problem is no more. 👍
450hp atw's should put me in the 10's. 🙂
