Hey guys,
a quick note to let any prospective spectators or competitors that there is a hillclimb on Sunday 26/9/04 by Wollongong Sporting Car Club at Avondale Road Huntley. I am going,as well as Benny and the guy with the hillclimb 1200 coupe will probably turn up also (factory injected 1200 with dogleg 5 speed - I want !!). Spectators can get close to the action and it is a fairly relaxed, fun day. If you get a chance come down and see if Benny and I can knock over my brother's Gemini coupe Converted, good outing for you if you are able to come Will post pics after the event.
Cheers

Hillclimbs are good fun. With a reasonably steep hill to hold you back a little, you can let it all hang out.

To the red line,... and beyond [to misquote Buzz Lightyear]

R-Fast...I might take you up on that. What licence do you need (cams 2NS i assume which you can normally purchase on the day) also do I need to be an existing meber of a club? Also I will need to get a trailer for that day.....mmmm. Im thinking its a stretch with the amount of work of still need to do on the car as well as other things.....

Just found out im leaving for Paris either last week of sept. or first week of oct. so i mightn't be able to make it, but if i go my camera will be with me so i'll ppost pics.

Hillclimb seems like the most sensible event for a streeter as you dont have gravity pulling you into a corner and then a ditch followed by repetitive rolling of ones precious datsun

Hey ISL33P,
good to hear you will call by. We will arrive at the venue about 7 - 7.30am to set up and get our spot but nothing really happens until say 10.00 am so sleep in and come out whenever. You can mingle amongst the cars and check them out so no worries there .
Converted,
sorry to hear that you can't make it but I understand the dramas . A lot easier when you have your own trailer and everything is finished though ! Hope we can see you at the next NSWRRC supersprint in November. Should have some good pics for all on Sunday night .
Cheers.
