Good info Dodgeman, as I'm finding that cams are a little hard to come by in the US. Thanks

nismo a12gx cam: M-13001-H2300

Is a later model A series cam for engines with the dizzy at the back?

I think I'm gonna source a newly rebuilt engine and get this one overhauled later, I'd rather not mess around with not having enough $$ to make it good.

I might have overrevved it. I was at about 50 in second gear, it was still pulling and didn't make a fuss till i shifted to third.

I'd get the cam reground if the nismo a12gx cam weren't $115. It's probably cheaper than a regrind.

I'd be really interested to know if that cam works in an A14/15.

oh, it gets better... I've decided to just get a freshly remanufactured engine swapped in, so I'm gonna have them put the A12gx cam in it then, and then in the spring I'm thinking I'll convert it to propane so I can get out of smog check. maybe turbo then ;)
