hey all im having another brain fart
i was reading a post a couple of mounths ago of some one adapting a hyundi injection moanifold to an a series
i whas just thinking of another option
i have seen a few a series with motor bike carbs so do you think that maby you could use a motor bike injection set up say from a kawasaki gpz or somthing and run it with a motech you then would also have quad throtle bodys i think it would be a lot easyer to adapt one oth theas manifolds than the hyundi wot u guys think

Interesting brain fart, I like the idea. But I dont know anything about motorbikes so I am not sure if it would work

at this stage i dont see why not
i have seen bikes run by motech ecu's
which are fully tunable so it should anly be a matter of adapting the throtle runners to your head and if you can do it with bike carbs then why not with bike injection
pleaz some one prove my rong and dampen my spirits

About 18 months ago I saw an ad in the trading post for an injection set up to fit an A12, I rang the guy and it was a set up off a bike.
I think he had it on some sort of race car and he said it worked well.
As it had been on a 1200cc and mine is bored out to 1600cc I thought it was too small for my application.

Go ahead I dont think it is a stupid idea at all.

If you really want to build one talk to him.

as far as being to small for an a15 i think that would be as easy as changing injector and fuel pump size i think i may give it a go

we had the quad throttle bodies from a cbr 600 f4i at uni, looked very possible, boy did i consider swipping that

from memory the throttles were like 32 or 34 mm i think ideal is closer to 40mm but that was only a 600cc bike so its quite possible the bigger bikes have a better throttle size
