Not that anyone cares but, I just got a phone call from my buddy Pat asking the same question! Well ok, it was a few days ago. Anyway, the point is, I was able to give him an answer and look all cool doing it. Thanks.

got a question for the american members on this.i'd heard the film negative was originally flopped so it all looked left hand drive for the american market.was this so.some more cars from mad max so you can really impress your friends.the Night-rider is in a 70-73 HQ Monaro.the pursuit cars are all XB Falcons, though one looks like it's got a gut load of deisel up it's exhaust for special effect.max & the wife go on hols in a Holden Kingswood panel van,& Goose borrows either a 63 EJ or 64 EH ute after his first little off(3 on the tree, those were the days).see you on the roads, just like we saw the night rider.

When I saw the film for the first time in 1980 or so, I was just so impressed with how bad-ass it was. I can't remember if it was flipped at that time. Every time I have seen it since, however, has had the drivers on the wrong side, oops, I mean on the right-hand side of the car. Except for the bikers, they seem to be right in the middle of the seat, like we ride over here.
