We're faced with the necessity of using wheels with a non standard offset and will need a spacer between the back of the rim and the front of the hub.

We are concerned with the amount of engagement between the wheel nut and the wheel stud.

The question is " Does anyone know if there is a longer stud available?"

Thanx in advance.

Yes there is.........R30 skyline or a Z car from memory. They are 5mm longer. Availible from most local auto parts shops. [repco, auto-one etc]. check their replacement wheel stud catalogue, all the dimentions will be defined.

I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

The other option is Nismo motorsport ones, they are 10mm longer than STD 1200 studs. not cheap either.

Talk to Feral. He showed me some new studs that were as long as my masculine appendage..., no, even longer, as long as my thumb.
He quite possibly has what you need.

I bought a set of 20mm longer studs from Autobarn but they weren't cheap. They were about $8-9 each from memory.

I'm faced with the same problem, but have alternate (but not cheaper solution). The front hub already has a plate bolted to it that the wheel studs run from. I'm getting a machine shop to make a thicker plate to replace the existing ones(original plus spacer thickness). Then I will countersink the holes so that I can run standard size studs. Defiently the long way round, but I'm not a big fan of spacers. More food for thought...
