its funny, most people would portray people that drive/own old cars as either old people or derro's but from reading this its seems a large majority of us are either qualified, studying to be qualified or have done their study for a fairly smart sorta job if u guys get wat im saying and have moved on to bigger things. saying this i am now about 3 months into an apprenticeship as a fitter and machinist and hope to move onto something to do with building or designing cars or something like that later on.... keep this thread going guys its very interesting....

PS re wiring or refitting your house lights im your man also can supply you guys with Automotive cable and anything alse to do with electrical products.

I'm quite impressed with the array of different jobs people have on here but I must say people's qualifications on here are pretty damn good.

If this was a holden commonwhore forum then most people would be saying maccas or dole or much to that degree

I manage a Dick Smith electronics store so nothing too flash for me.

Hi guys im a spraypainter by trade gave it up 5 years ago and went into the fibre glass industry .But now i work from home on computers and buy and sell cars from the auctions this gives me time to spend on my datto ......CHEERS
PS........
if anyone asks what your job is again tell them you work at the placemat factory cutting the corners out on the mats ...wait and see if they believe you, ive had some funny responses .............

i work making tunnels...could probably let everyone know where the fixed speed camera's will be in the new tunnels in sydney...but might get in trouble for that

p.s a mate has borrowed my 1200 while his astra gets fixed up, he doesn't want to give it back!
