Hey Phunk thats exactly what we did. Two teflon squars on each skirt.
And get this for rough.
If the motor rattled for more than 2 minutes then holden would replace the pistons. If the motor had done under 30000km holden said not to mesure them. And wait for it.
The service manager said if the pistons are tight going in then hit them harder.
They were all done in car & we wern't alowed to replace th bearings.

Yeah a mate of mine worked for them and got stuck doing those engines. What gets me is every style of engine they use are years old and reasonably good, but holden gets them and have all these problems. I wish I still owned my old Commodore

Commodore 64 that is. Dam Frank Bruno's Boxing was fun, just to fight Canadian Crusher and then have the tape stuff up always.

And my doppleganger appears...

I am also a photographer. Mostly boring stuff like weddings and architecture, but doing those things affords me the opportunity to also do the glamorous car stuff too... Currently freelancing for about 10 different performance car mags in the US and Canada. There is no greater job in the world, to me
