OK Im not selling now. Sorry.

Am however now selling my SU's

How do you tell if they're a matched pair? consecutive numbers? If so, then they arent.
If they were never a matched pair, how does this affect pairing them?

cheers,
-Tyrie

Thats ok, i hate su's,
Matched Pairs, well yes they have consecutive no.s. and as castings change over time, tuning them in sync with one another can be a hassle. They've been making weber dcoe's for like half a century so you'd want to make sure the carbs came off the production line at around the same time, had the same sort of life etc. Would be like putting a solex on next to a weber

the numbers need to be close, they don't have to match exactly

Thanks guys You've been most helpful
numbers are 30858 and 30788. Are they close enough to pair?
How do you tell what year they were made? I read somewhere that you open the top cover and count the adjustments or somethin.... any ideas?

Cheers.

Its the series of the Weber's that is important eg "40 DCOE 2" or "40 DCOE 18"
