i just picked up a pair of 41mm dellorto's for my 1200 at a ludicrously low price. and i have a question regarding the mounting of them.
you see these carbs come with a manifold, this manifold is meant to fit a 1600, 1800 and 2 litre datsun motor and im not sure if it will fit my A12. i have been told that it may but as i havent picked them up yet im not sure.
does anyone know if they will fit or will i have to get a manifold made? if i do have to get a new manifold made up does anyone know where i can get it done?? im in Auckland New Zealand??

most probaly the wont fit you can buy manifolds from autoquip marketing brand new for about $200 hope this helps

I don't think that that manifold would fit your A12, sounds like it's suitable for the L- series.

By the way how cheap is ludicrously if you don't mind my asking? I'm afer some 40s myself and would be interested to hear a ball park figure for something similar

i picked them up for $100 in total, and the guy had only had them for one month (he bought them brand new) before he crashed his car and is selling all the bits.
