ill defend the commodore since i own one..
(VS 5l/5speed ute)

ive done a single run with a g-tech and did a 15.2 at 98mph.... which im sure i could better especially considering the trap speed.

the good thing about this.. is that if your beating your mate he is either having HUGE traction issues which is very probable since i did aswell... either that or your sedan is quicker than a 16 sec pass

anyway just thought i would say that his ute should be running in the 15's at worst and that your datto is probably much quicker than you think..

and by the way i dont think that my v8 commodore is the best thing since slice bread and that its the quickest... and i do get 450km to a 60litre tank of petrol..

i do love the torque though

anyway

GO THE DATTO!

i sold my 5l commy ( vr 5l 5spd, same motor as vs) neway it didnt do anything till 2nd gear neway everycar flogged me at the start only later on id catch em n beat em on or near 100kph.. my datto is quicker tho i munched a v6 vs 5spd, and my commy only just beat them and they do 15.5 i think and the v8 was 15.1 so i reckon im high 14's maybe mids.. not bad for a 2litre with zorst n cai haha
