What boosters and master cylinders fit? I've been offered a 200B master and booster but want to be sure it bolts up without need to modify anything before I take it.

No booster bolts straight up. The best I have seen is an N10 pulsar booster with a LB Lancer booster bracket cut down to 30mm. Doesn't require any body alterations and the rod for the booster doesn't need to be altered. If you go for the 200B, there are a lot of hassles in making it fit and look like it was meant to be there. I have a pics but no scanner at the moment.
Do yourself a favout and look for an N10 (non PBR) booster instead.

the LB Lancer booster BOLTS STRAIGHT UP!!
I know because I've dont it, the only problem is you need to get longer break lines as the master sits out a good 3" more then the stock master.
You certainly can run a remote booster check out Nis15L's pics he is using a remote booster in his ute running a CA18DET, he has it mounted in the passenger footwell.

Demojob

I'll accept the LB Lancer bolts straight up. I've seen it too. I wasn't specific enough with what I was saying. I haven't seen a nissan booster bolt straight up. The problem with using the Lancer booster (to my knowledge...which is limited when talking about the lancer booster) you are limited to the MC that exists on it. With the Pulsar booster I suggested you can alternate between any of the nonPBR MC off a nissan and the silvia,300zx and others also bolt straight in. So I think consideration needs to be given the the actual brakes being used as to what system is employed.
Besides the Lancer booster & MC look really ugly (in my opinion) in an engine bay, because of how far they stick out.

Hopefully that explains a bit better and doesn't offend.

Michael

If it helps any I'm using 200B front struts with girlock calipers. I'll try the LB as it sounds an easier job. Cheers boys.

Whorida, just wondering if you fitted the 200b struts yourself or if you know what is involved in fitting them

Whorida....if you're worried about boosters looking ugly in the engine bay do as Demojob said and run a remote booster like NIS15L did.
I'm just fitting a VH44 to my coupe up under the glovebox, running stanza brakes and 200B master cylinder. Pretty easy job to do. If you want some pics or details let me know.
Cheers
Dan

I won't be fitting the brakes myself as I go in for an operation soon. I handed the job over to someone else while I'm in hospital. The struts were previously in a 1200, so they're already set up perfectly.

DTW, I'd love some photo's of your gear bro.
