on the subject of wagons, if any locals know of one for sale (2 OR 4 DOOR)((although ive never seen a 2 door and would nearly kill for one, or atleast pay well for one) i would be very interested as my second project fell through even before i could hand over cash (did my research and found it was stollen, thrashed, striped and dumped) ((needless to say somebody (the"owner") is in some s#$t))(but thats another story) soooo... anyone know of any. i would also love to see a pic of a 2 door 1200 wagon

Now that's just too sensible, my brain is still operating pre-photo album days!,unfortuantely the only pic I have is so tiny that it is barely worthwhile. If we haven't found any before the end of the year (November) I'll take my digital camera home with me and take pictures of it. I guess I might as well post that little one, going for ir now!

The US never got wagons, so I've never actually seen one ... but ... here are some pictures from the club Photo Album:

Here is a 2-dr Sunny (I think it's 1200). Love those whitewall tires and hubcaps:

Isn't this a 1000?

agr0, there used to be a shmick wagon like the cream one in the photo ad above but was a 4 door (i think) up the street from Knoppys. You know that side street that goes off Salamanca and heads up to Sandy Bay Rd, Knopwoods is on the corner.

Anyway, it just used to sit on the side of the road up the top of that street. Looked pretty straight and there were no bricks under the wheels to stop it rolling down the hill so I assume the handbrake works (bonus!).
So if it was still there I thought you could put a piece of paper under the wiper thats asks the owner if they want to sell it.

Just a thought. Havent seen too many getting around. There is another one, a blue one, up Huon Rd just past the servo. It parks up a steep driveway so you cant see it but every now and then I see the lady driving in and out.

Simon
