I used an A14 block, pistons, and rods with the A12 crank. I had to shave the deck on the A14 block. If you use the A12 block and A14 rods and postons, the piston would stick out of
the top. Using the 1200 crank in the 1400 block, the piston will not travel all of the way to the top of the bore. it will lack .170 inch. Hope you have this straight now. good luck.
