hey guys, finally finished the conversion, did have a few problems along the way, it took me 5 hours to sort out the pedal box to fit the clutch master cylinder (stanza pedal box looked too complicated so i modified the sunny one). I coudnt find an r30 (stumpy) gearbox so i had to opt for a bluebird one which meant i had to modify the console and tailshaft. Another problem was trying to find stanza/200b engine mounts, i didnt find any but a mate of mine had some subaru outback engine mounts which happened to slot staight in, but when i put the bonnet back on the standard downdraught carby (with aircleaner) was preventing it from shutting, so i got some hitachi/su's and now shes nice and snug. Any questions?

How many RPMs will it do in fifth gear?
I have an L20B powered B310 coupe, and it wont do more than 5200. I have Twin SUs too.

Well done mate - but I'm surprised you couldn't find any Stanza/200B mounts...

A14Force, I have a L18 with twin SU's in my sunny & it'll rev out to (you decide teh currency) with out any problem.
It may be a factor (if your running the standard air cleaner box) that its not drawing in enought air. Try removeing the box or air cleaners see what happens...

I wonder what he top rpm in 5th would be on my A15, but I haven't got anywhere to go that fast. 4th has more to go and gets up to 80+ mph

Yes, I'm running the factory twin carb airbox. But, I have a big ass pipe going from the air cleaner intake, out into one of the driving light knockouts in the grill. So theres no problem with airflow.
It will rev out to 6000 in third, (although it's a bit slugish past 5500) but in fifth 5200 is all it has got. I was curious as to if an L18 would have longer legs.
