Yeah Zip Ties are bloody useful as an emergency/cheap-ass fix-everything tool (I'm yet to find something better for holding number plates on).
I've got an awesome zip-tie battery clamp in my 180B

Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence when they snap while you're tightening them though...

Zip ties and race cars go hand in hand...... amazing the number of race cars held together with those little bits of plastic......as an added bonus - they are lighter than bolts

I was at the hardwear store today , they have zip ties that are longer than me laying down... side by side. i think it was around 6 feet long

yeah, datman I used 'em all the time in my race car , the radiator was even held in place with some big ones.
