I don't know, call me cynical... but how hard is it to scan a timeslip? I'm sure if I ran a 13 with an aspirated A series I'd be hanging onto that timeslip, laminating it, and framing the bastard!

actually, I was speaking to a bloke at work who races mitsubishi sigma/astron 2.4L 4 cylinder engines with 13.5:1 compression ratio and serious head and cam modifications, he has to run a holley 650 carb for racr regulations (he runs modified 4cyl sedans in speedway racing) he was telling me with anything past 12.5:1 compression ratio he has to run methanol fuel perhaps because they tune their engines for peak power and max advance? I don't know what mineshes A series is capable of without seeing solid proof but one thing is certain..... it is one hell of a street datsun
