can anybody from south africa tell me how much an '85 1400 Bakkie would cost? does the '85 onward have the extended cab?

There were no extended cab 1200 utes.
The cabs were all the same size. [small] They did make long wheelbase [long bed] models however.

As far as I know al the utes in NZ were long wheelbase ones. (GB120) At least all the ones I've seen have been anyway.

From what I understand, sometime in the 90's they did increase the cabin size, but not enough to warrant calling it an extended cab

The Bakkies have a higher roof line and the rear window is reversed from it's original position so it protrudes out towards the tray. NZ got both short and long wheel base utes.B120 was the shorty and GB120 was the longer one. Later model utes around 85 were designated B122 & GB122.
