pulled one hectic burn out floored it a bit more, pressed clutch to change to second as hard as hell no clutch, drive 5km in traffic to get home.

pull motor out in 45min inspect clutch, 2 springs missing and the plate is cracked. #### IT vw ####

just got the clutch of my screwed engine along with the fly wheel. the clutch is rooted so i need a new one...

also did any one no that the fly wheel on the L18 has 5 bolts holiding it on and the 200B L20B has six bolts holding it on...

i need to source a new fly wheel bugger hay....

I have seen worse things done to volkswagens.
Over and over and over again.
They are still driving.
Was'nt it just a bad clutch?
Put a new clutch kit in and a new flywheel and try it again.

you blow the motor up in one of those and its maybe a little bit worse than putting a 2cm scratch on the floor pan of your datto...

Yes, you are right about the Datsun.
But just after my Datsun I will take my Volkswagen.

That will be the first I have heard about it.
Yes, yes I know this is a Datsun website.
Why I drive these two cars is because they are both reliable and cheap to maintain.
And because I LOVE MY DATTO
I probably would have driven 2 sedans if they were still in production today.
