brake clearance? And the sump is still flat to the ground across the sump gasket..

Look at the sump and gearbox selection before going that way.

3 things I would investigate:

1: Oil return
2: will the bonnet close
3: will the gearstick dig into your thigh

I don't know for sure but keep an eye on number 1, number 3 can be introduced to an oxy.

oil return cannt be a problem cause the Lseries blocks r used when doing Ka24e conversion, with the engine standing uprite.

I have a flat oil pan already thats why im asking the question.Modified for a 1200

Oil return from the head. . .

You don't want the oil level above your valve stem seals!

But if you keep it sideways you should be able to keep it draining away.

To stand it upright you need a Z20E or Z22E oil pan. Bolts straight on and is set up for an upright engine.

Also, you'll have to address the intake manifold somehow as your air/fuel will now be running uphill. Doesn't matter with EFI, but with carbs it will.

If stock, yes. but you can use the Z20E/Z22E transmission, or heat and bend the shifter over.
