What is the 1979-82 210 called in Oz and UK? They dropped the B from the 210 those years in America. Is yours a 120
Y those years also?
Do those front struts and brakes fit the 1200 easily?

The '79-82 210 in the US is actually a B310, which was sold as a Sunny or 120Y (140Y or 150Y depending on engine size) in the UK. The 210 is the replacement model for the B210 in the
US as it was everywhere else but I suppose they called it a 210 to keep it related to the previous model. The designation "B310" ie the chassis code for this model.
The B310 is based on the B210 so most parts are swappable, although the rear axle is wider so won't fit.(although the differential will)

That's probably no clearer at all

Just to confuse things further Nissan USA decided to name the N10 a "310" !!

If I'm not mistaken, the 210 that you refer to is a B-310. Which is similar to the 1200 being a B-110. I don't think th 120Y is the same car. As far as the front struts go, yes
they will swap into a 1200 pretty easily. I have done this on one of my cars and it was much easier than the 1980 HL510 strut swap that I did on another car. I hope this info
helps.

Andrew Dennis (CA18Det_man) is the person u want to talk to. He droped a CA into a coupe which i doubt would be much different
to a ute.

Hi all,
The 210 was simular to the B210. The parts 210 I have came with the lame A12A engine (Who thought that one up??) and the rear Dif.
is a four link
system and not a leaf spring as the B210 and 1200
models. I have a narrowed 200SX diffy all set up
for the 210(B310) that I might sell or I may cut
off the link stuff to put in the "Lime Rikki"1200
with a floating and ladder bar system. Also the 210 (some I think) had a split driveshaft.

Steve (or anyone else in the US), I would like to buy or trade for a crankshaft for the "lame" A12A. [Even though it is same stroke as the A12 1200. I trade them to other
1200 racers. They like the lightweight A12A crank, even though I use 1200 cranks.] Email is PeterZekert@Juno.Com
