above 120 kph the front airdam helps with not feeling floaty. at 150 kph the car feels nice and stuck to the road.

my dad says that when he went to tech he had to rebuild an a12 as his first engine. he says that the standard a12 in its origional condidtion will do 100 mph

nice coupe sidedraught i have only had my wagon up to 60 mph that was in my paddock just after it rained so the wheels just spun like crazy and i got no where the speedo read 60 but the car was going at walking speed hahaha
[edit] if your wondering why its ony been driven ounce in the paddok its because its was unregestered and is now in peices

come on guys, the "indian got 200mph...
and was casting his own pistons..

the fastest i ever got was 110mph a stock a14 with a four speed wringing the crap out of it...
i was trying to blow it up so i could put the ca in... (no major overeving, just thrashing)
i never did blow up that motor
then put in the ca and blew 3..lol

Driven dads race car(a15) at winton raceway to

8500rpm in fourth gear with 4.8:1 diff ratio and 205/60/13 tyres with a rolling diameter of 570mm

which i think works out at190kph

I ve run my turbo A15 roady out to over 6000rpm in 5th gear with a 3.7:1 diff which i worked out to close to 220kph had to pull speedo out after that it got stuck on about 200kph as in round the dial past 0 again

i got my original A12 powered 120y auto to 160km, it took a lot of road but it got there.
i recon that with the work i've done to it now it should be good for +180 km with a tail wind.

i have a A14 with a 56a 4speed box. if somethign breaks on the ute that gives me a reason to pull it off the road and start the reso on her. that is prob the only reason why i want it to break for
