Just wanted to know if you guys think a 45 side draft would work on an A12 with the machanical fuel pump delivering the fuel? Or should I just get a same facet pump to be safe? The carbi was on the front of my turboed A14 but it may as well be used on the ute I have instead of just sitting around on the bench!

There is a couple of people on this site that run the standard mechanical fuel pump on two 40 sidedraft webers.
I think it will work with a single 45 sidedraft.

Put it on and see what it does.

single 45 will work and the standard mech fuel pump wont have a problem .... you having any luck with selling the sedan ?? i here ange could be easy to convince
