I am doing a "J-pipe" turbo setup for an A12 in the near future...

Im going to use 1 turbo off a twin turbo 2litre Subaru Legacy... Brought from importers for $75

Some may say its to small but remember a 2valve 35year old design engine wont pump the same amount of air as a 4valve 5year old design engine (meaning efficiency)...

PS- Does your car (62bluebird) have an alloy H165 diff centre? If so do you want to sell it? If so I can send you a std cast iorn one to replace it plus the cash...? Im serious...!

maybe one of these, a Toyota Starlet GT 4EFTE CT9 Turbo, they are from a 1.3 twin cam.

I have just fitted a TD04 Turbo off a WRX to my A14, i got it with only 52,000 kms so i didnt have to rebuild it (just yet). For an A12 i have seen them built with the turbo's of the nissan EXA/ET 1.5L Turbo. Cheap and easy to find.

I have an old T2 Garret I'd like to try out
But every time that turbo manifold pops up on here for sale in Perth the guy never gets back to me

Glad we're getting some flanges made now
Might have to make my own

Yeah Im very interested in the turbo setup for an A12 as well. I want a setup delivering over 200hp at the wheels reliably. Maybe we can start discussing this topic as well as to what that could mean. I know it will take good money but I would want to do it right.....

you will be lucky to get 200 at the wheels i would think. It would have to be a very well built engine
