J pipe is a posibility i spose...

Me and Neil have been talking about making something up to suit a 1000. We both have flanges coming and Neil has a welder. We could tack a manifold up to suit then get it welded/reproduced. Just buy a few bits of steam pipe... I can see it being cheaper that way too!

I just had a thought. Mike could we use one of your many 1000s in the 'graveyard' to mock this manifold up on? When are you gettin back from Malasia? You have PM anyway.

looks like a great manifold, im tempted to buy one for a simple turbo setup

would love to see a photo of one in an engine bay though

maybe a photo of the manifold with the manifold gasket sitting over it would give people a better idea how it is suited to the port size

As soon as I get mine, I will TRY to post up pics (never seem to have any success?) with the gasket on and of one fitted in the engine bay. I will be doing an intercooled blow thru set up and I am hoping to EVENTUALLY get approx 165rwhp or so from the humble A series.

Without getting nasty champ, I can read clearly what you wrote.

"its 1 inch pipiing so i guess its about4mm bigger than that "
I read that its 1 inch ID and you clearly write its "4mm" bigger.

Well maybe educate yourself champ. 4mm thick pipe will be 8mm bigger in diameter.

So i can clearly read that you have written it is 2mm thick pipe.
