run a a10 and it will give you lots of motavation and time to hot up the a12 but why not get a14/15 INSTEAD ?

i'm not looking to make it into a rocket ship mate gotta drive it to work and stuff. the a12 can give me what i want from it and its there :) its the old version so it mounts straight up and its easier. i know dundee would sell me a 14 or 15 if i was all for it but i'll stick with the 12 for the mo.

well we found an a12 to put in the wag. apparently has been overheated or something wrong with the head. we pulled it down friday night and it all looked ok so feckknows what the deal is with it. gonna run a re-ring kit through it anyways to be sure. but now the plans have really changed. this motor is just temp until i finish the a15 which is now on the cards. high comp oval port head with huge ports, big cam, match ported oval manifold, twin solexs, lightened pushrods, billet rocker spcaers, electronic dizzy, hpc exctractors.. the whole deal. should go a bit better :)

On the topic of the A10, i'm thinking about keeping it in my B10. The A15 I bought is still sitting aside.
I'm going to do the A10 up a bit, the short stroke would be interesting.
And then when I get my act together I'll put the A15 in. I think if I had a garage or shed it'd be easier, doing it in the carport sucks.

EDIT: Sidedraught has one that is said to have gone pretty hard.
