I know that the branco bros not active moderators for this site, which makes for a nice easy going site, but I again call for a couple of the senior members to be moderators so that threads like

iphone crap

can be deleted or at least closed.

Anyone else feel the same?

I agree I PM'd the branco bros dorectly saying I would be a moderator and even donate to the club for the right but I never heard back from them :(

Oh well I'm sure they will find someone to do it for them.

ive been a member for near on 5 years and
i think that this site is perfect as it is.

sure there will always be morons who come and go

if we dont encourage them like we do they will go sooner

I would agree that any 'reasonably normal person' could moderate this place. Not for the threads where arguments happen, but to delete rubbish totally offtopic threads.

Arguments happen in real life, the sensitive amongst us need to harden up a bit.

Yeah guys, the idea is to have a moderator to close threads that are junk, then have the branco bros remove them. This way we would still hold the autonomey that this club holds, but with a little gentle enforcment.

Perhaps the brancos can add a button that allows you to vote it closed or something so that we are able to vote a thread dead.

The issue of idiots makeing logins, well thats not really a big issue. If the threads are closed promptly then they stop soon enough.

We will see i guess.

I spoke to Pedro the other day and it sounds like a moderator to do just that is on the way.

They will be given priveleges to close rubbish threads and delete spam user profiles (and idiots such as "danielf1", who you may have noticed is now called "danielf1_ban")...
