Don't do that, have a look through the wiki, a good tune up will help, 1200's are quite zippy if tuned right.

paddok basher... WHY?
rego car... WHY?

The look gay and you'ld get better flow from a ramflow ill'd say unless you have the pod sticking out the bonnet.

You probabaly wouldnt notice any difference anyway. Why not have no air filter? You only need em for when you drive through a pile of sand etc

I don't agree with Burko-a-lot on most levels, as we live in different dimensions..

But this picture raised a smile on my face..

I'd like to see a circular hole cut in the bonnet.
..it's not a particularly popular model of ute anyway..so I think that a few insane mods is a pretty good idea.

I have one, but I don't have many choices with my crazy intake setup. It looks kinda funny since on my engine it's unclear exactly how any fuel gets into the engine.

depends on how it's applied as to whether it looks good or not.

It probably doesn't hurt performance any. Help performance minimal.

Don't be too hard on your self Burko - nothing wrong with being young and living in the Outback. Keep listening and learning and the rest will take care of itself.
